Hi Jackie,
I've been trying to see if I've missed something as well, because I would have thought, surely you must be able to arrange the stations in an order that suits you, but it seems not! I was wondering about the Companion software, as I read on the Humanware site, via the F A Q, that if you used the software that you would be able to search for stations eccetra. So I downloaded the software, and found nothing to help with the radio. Perhaps we should compile a wee wish list for future implementation through upcoming updates. If anyone has anything they would like to see added, bring your thoughts forth.
1. Addition of WMA streaming capabilities.
2. Addition of station manipulation in the favourites.
3. Ability to download podcasts.
I'm not much into podcasts myself, so I'm going by your say so, *smile*, unless of course, someone knows different, then speak up. I know there is a VRS list for America, does anyone happen to know if we have one this side of the pond?

Regards.
Jim.

Hi Jim

We played around with OoTunes a little last night on the VRS. I could not
work out a way of putting my Favourites in order, so if this is possible,
perhaps someone could enlighten us?

Personally, I prefer TuneIn Radio for searching stations, I wish HumanWare
had used this instead of OoTunes, but it is a minor thought. I really like
the Internet service on the product, it is pretty quick. There doesn't
appear to be a way of downloading podcasts yet either, and I wonder why such
a popular feature was not included in the update, always assuming I have
missed it?

Kind regards,

Hi Guys,
I spoke with Humanware today, about why some stations that are already on
the ootunes database, are not accessible on the Victor Reader Stream. The
answer I was given was, some radio streams are done in wma format, and the
VRS cannot play these, it will only play streams in mp3, or aac formats. If

you are after a particular station, that does not appear in the ootunes
database, if you google to find out the type of media stream that it is
broadcasting in, you will be able to determine if the VRS will even be able
to receive it, before you ask for it to be added to the database..
Hope this clarifies things a little.

Regards.
Jim.

I was able to find BBC radio Scotland on the ootunes website and on the
ootunes app on my iphone but not on ootunes on the stream. I have also been
unable to find some local radio stations.

There is an option to import stations from an ootunes file but I haven't
worked out how to do this yet.

Paul

Hi David

I think we might have to contact OoTunes and ask for the stations to be
added. They are not there at the moment.

I am going to try contacting them later today.
