Hi Gordon,

Mandy's messages are not HTML, they are plain text at the moment.

All the best

Steve

Hi Mandy

What A.V. software are you using?
When did you perform a full system scan?

I may be overly pessimistic, I hope so, but the fact you have your email set
to html, despite others assurances, sets off alarms bells in my mind.

Hi I'm still grappling with problem and without a solution I just have to
reboot every ten minutes or so.

Someone suggested I try using the laptop in same room as router - makes
absolutely no difference at all.

I'm currently using hardwired but this is not a workable permanent solution
at all.

Even when the laptop loses internet connection it still says wireless
connected with strong signal strength.
I don't know who to ask or how to go about finding a solution.
The Router is Belkin 54G.

Anybody know how complicated or otherwise a firmware upgrade is?
I do have a link that takes me to it on the desktop or at least I think it
does.

We've seen routers which don't seem very expensive but then I still don't
know who will set it all up for me.

I'm tired of problems I just want to use this laptop with none.
Okay so I can't link directly onto links in emails and none of the solutions
have helped but it's a minor problem and although annoying I can live with
it.

Mandy.
