Hi Alfred On either side of the Kindle Keyboard are page up and down buttons, but they are pretty flush with the edge of the device. You need to press these to go up and down pages, not your five-way joystick, and remember that on each page turn, you need to switch on the TTS. This is a bit daft, but there it is. My books have all downloaded and start at the beginning thus far. I wonder if you are accidentally pressing the page down button on the very edge of the unit, thereby advancing the book? It is easy to press these buttons by mistake. Another strange thing is that when I started a new book, it did not start at the begging but 5% in to the book. effectively this was similar to a book not finishing and stopping at 87%. I am wondering if the problem is my books or the KK itself. Obviously I know I can go backk t Amazon but just wondering if others have had similar experiences before doing so. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
