Hi Peter
Have just looked at this and it isn't enabled, so if anyone has any other ideas
that would be great.

Thanks
James

  Hi James,

If you are using Outlook Express.

Make sure that within OE, you do not have the check box checked that reads,
connect to Windows Messenger on startup.

  Subject: [access-uk] Killing Windows messenger

  Hi all

I have installed the latest version of MSN Messenger, but Windows Mesenger
seems to keep appearing and grabbing my account, I keep seeing messages saying
"you have signed into Messenger on another computer, click here to sign in
again.", and the like. Obviously I have made sure that the box within Windows
Messenger that tells it to run when Windows starts is unchecked, but it doesn't
seem to have made any difference. Suggestions welcome.

  James
