Essentially the speech engine options are limited to 2, Microsoft and
unknown. The voice associated with the MS engine is MS Sven while the
one associated with the unknown engine appears to be LH Michael,
whatever that means. I have the same version on m system at home where
the full range of usual suspects, Paul, Kurt, Frank, Wendy, etc are
available to me. There is also no verbosity setting available to me
here.

What voicessapi 4 or sapi 5 voices do you have on the machine? THere is
also an option which lets you use your screenreader.

I've just had K1000 V7 re-registered on my machine as part of
the BBC network set up here at work. When I've tried to configure it,
for example changing the system voice, I find that most of the options
are missing. The only voice available appears to be Microsoft Sven
which is unlistenable to. The same THING APPLES IN THE READING VOICE
DIALOGUE BOX. I also note that there doesn't seem to be an optimise
scan option in the scanning drop down. Can anyone help please?
