Hi Christine. At the minute I believe that Karen has a dial-up internet connection with Tiscali which will charge her somewhere in the region of 1p per minute on her phone bill. Our company is just finalising the terms and conditions of our own broadband supply which we will be launching shortly. We are aiming to supply not just the software but full systems and the internet connection/email accounts also. I believe this will enable us to offer greater support to our end users and we can then tackle all computer issues and internet problems ourselves without the need to chase 3rd party internet providers. We all know how frustrating this can be, getting passed from pillar to post. My apologies once again for all the confusion surrounding this matter and I just hope that there will be no more complications. You can be rest assured that I will always do my uttermost to resolve any situation. I will give Karen another courtesy call to see how she is getting on and if I can be of any further assistance. Best wishes and thanks for the feedback. Phil. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Christine Weetman Sent: 31 May 2007 09:27 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Just to let everyone know! Karens email problem has now been resolved (for the time being) thanks to Phil, she's up and running again now and Reasonably happy, though she still doesn't understand what you mean by "waiting for the terms and conditions to be sorted out" as being the reason why she can't have broadband? What a Mystery. Also she doesn't seem to have a clue who she's paying for her internet provider! lol Maybe you could let her know? Smiles. Thanks anyway, I know I oughtn't to get involved, but we've been pals for over 40 years and she's always taken for rides with her sweet nature, I Hate that! Hi Christine. I have spoken with Karen recently and I believe the email situation is rectified. I can only apologise again for all the confusion surrounding Guidemail but like I have already mentioned this was nothing to do with our company and I was not aware of the situation. I have setup a new email account for her and between us we successfully managed to configure Guide with her new account details. She can now happily send and receive her emails again. Karen did extremely well with the instructions I gave her and she was a real sport during this. I hope that the situation has been succesfully resolved and her faith in ourselves restored. Please feel free to drop me a line at phil@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you have any further queries. In answer to your query regarding signing up for freelists or groups, they work the same through Guide as through Outlook Express etc. If Karen contacts me to request how to do this then I shall be only too happy to guide her through the process. I hope this helps ! Kind regards Phil. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Christine Weetman Sent: 27 May 2007 00:54 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: No one else with this problem?
