I think you'll have more luck with Vodafone when finding out the costs for your contract if you don't mention the software. Just say your using your phone as a modem for your computer as sometimes there are different rules for whether you are surfing and downloading mail on your handset and when you are using your computer.

From what I've read; The first 0.5MB is £1, then it's free until after 15 MB, to which it's £2 per MB. This is without a bundle though I expect. This is a daily charge.
