Hi James.
From memory, the JAWS-Users list was run by a lady called Debbie who sadly
died a few years ago, hence the list shutting down. Her family made the
decision to keep the accompanying JAWS-Users site up and running because it
was seen as an extremely useful resource at the time. I've got no idea if
the site is still being maintained though.
Incidentally, there is a JAWS list here in the UK on the Freelists platform.
Its called JAWS-UK. Although I don't know how active it is. Try
jaws-uk-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
if interested.

I have not been on a Jaws specific list for about 10 years now. I used to
belong to one which was based in the USA but I am not sure if it is still
going.
The list was known as Jaws User and the web site associated with it appears
to be still live.

You could search to see if the mailing list still exists as well.

I was shocked and disappointed that the Jaws list closed so suddenly. As it
is such a busy list, I haven’t followed all its threads, just the ones which
interest me, so have obviously missed out on some stroppy and controversial
messages.
Having been a Window-eyes user for so many years, I have found the list
really useful for converting to Jaws. Does anyone know of a similar list I
could subscribe to?
