Andrew,

There is no need to worry about removing previous shipping versions of
Jaws on your computer, for example versions 4.1, 4.5 etc.

With regard to the demo, if it is a demo version of version 5, then you
should be able to authorise it with your current authorisation disk, without
needing to remove it and reinstall another.

If your demo version is version 5, simply run this version and when it
pops up to ask if you would like to run it as demo or authorise it, slot
your authorisation disk in your machine and select the authorise button.

If the demo version is not version 5, then it's probably wisest to
remove it, for tidyness sake if nothing else. There's no need to remove
shared components.

As far as I know, providing you have been regularly upgrading your Jaws
versions with the SMA program, your existing authorisation disk should work
just fine, but as you are running a demo this may not be the case. Are your
existing older versions fully authorised? Have you been sent a new
authorisation disk with your new version of Jaws?

Cheers,
Tink.
