Jaws 8.0.2107 no longer requires you to disable UAC and the speech at logon now
works.

Even 8.0 won't run with Vista, you'll have to wait for 8.1,
which is only
out in beta I believe.

No! You will not be able to use JAWS 6.0 with Windows Vista.
Only version=20
8.0 to my knowledge will run with Vista
