Hi,
You need to unprotect them to read them.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Jaws/ Word problem please help;
Importance: High
Hi Folks,
Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated as I have some important
documents to read;
So, using Office 2016 and Jaws version 16… when opening a Word document
all Jaws reads is blank.. blank … blank… but I have been assured by sighted
friends there is indeed text on the document.
Any help in what settings etc. to alter to ensure Jaws reads these documents?
Thanks all,
Scott
Kindest Regards
