Hi Martin, Many thanks for your advice. Fortunately I've now tried this and all seems fine apart from when in the config manager as a default setting I want Jaws to speak words only and numbers as single digits. I've checked the relevant settings but it doesn't change yet the clock will speak as digits. Any suggestions? Steve
