I know that JAWS and Window-eyes both promis a free upgrade for Vista but I
wouldn't even dream of going for it on the first day of release or anywhere
near that unless you absolutely have to because of work and even then, most
large organisations take their time about adopting a new operating system.

GW, FS and I assume Dolphin will all try to make their products Vista
compatible as soon as possible because it is a great piece of marketing to
say your product supports the latest operating system even though the number
of visually impaired users is likely to be tiny.

Regards

Graham

Hi Alex,

No, Window-Eyes does not currently support Vista, but GW have promised a
free patch in January, for anyone who owns the current version of
Window-Eyes at that time. GW will have Vista support ready on the day =
of
Vista's release, 30 January.

All the best

This is shocking.

I've just been reading the latest disaster and can not believe somebody =
is
honestly going to pay for this.

This thing isn't even supporting Vista for goodness sake!

And what is all that SAPI Alia's stuff about in say all?

OMG, that's a new feature?

More and more nonsense!

I'm raging because, I like many wasted my money on this rubbish for =
years!

I'm disgusted because, many still will! Also rehab agency's and that =
whole
area will thrust this product on unsuspecting souls.

Note: this is a consumers viewpoint and I think it's utter pooh.
