Hi All,
I hope the list moderator doesn't mind me replying to three messages in one
go, but I'm getting some work done around the house over the next few
days,and am furiously trying to get things sorted out tonight in case I
can't get to my PC while it's all happening. I can read my email from my
mobile phone,but I hate trying to reply to messages on those fiddly little
keypads.
Dave, your idea of telephone support for taking users through new features
in upgrades is a good one. Any resource of this kind can't be a bad thing.
Joan, you're certainly not on your own, I get this feeling every time I
switch on my PC. Scripting was something I really wanted to get into, but it
seems such a complex and daunting subject that I never really did get into
it.
Barry, I'm sorry you are being forced down that road, but ten years is a
long time in computing, and maybe by then your company will be the new kid
on the block and wil have blown all the other screen reader manufacturers
away.
Good luck in your switch to Window Eyes, and more importantly in your course
and career.
Apologies if this multiple reply has screwed up people's threads, but
necessity was the mother of invention, or mother was the necessity of
invention, or something like that ...
Further training in how to use a screen reader obviously isn't the only
other trainingI need#!
