Hi Barbara

Yes you should for the following reasons:

- Bug fixes
- Java is becoming more efficient and features added
- security updates

Java 6 (1.6) has been around for about 2 years updates are introduced every
2 - 3 months, the latest one is 12.

Regards
Isaac
