Hi all,

Just heard John Blake, Chief Executive of Freedom Scientific, announce at the
NFB Convention a tie-up with the American bank, WElls Fargo, which will see
JAWS installed on walk up work stations in 6,000 of their branches. Apparently
having work stations where you can complete self-service online banking
transactions is fairly commonplace in North American banks, not sure if it is
here.

He also said that he could see this being rolled out to other settings such as
hotels.

Let’s hope we’ll see equivalent accessibility accommodations being made in
self-service situations here such as hotel check-ins, GP surgeries etc.

Cheers,
