I dare say the following will be a relief to many,
especially with it's Office 2003 improvements.

Freedom Scientific is anticipating a posting of
JAWS 5.1 English Version
later this weekend. This will be a free
downloadable update to all JAWS
customers with 5.x authorization currently
installed. It will install to
its own directory and will not conflict or
interfere with the use of
previous versions of JAWS already installed on
your machines. Customers
using Dongles with 5.x currently will also find a
version posted for
their use at the same time. Within approximately 3
weeks, this new
version will begin to ship for new customers on CD
and include the New
Internet based Authorization at that time. All
existing JAWS customers,
will receive the new Internet based Authorization
with their next SMA
shipment (expected before the end of this year).
