Hi Yusuf, very likely playback sound is muted. My screen is Jaws but to manage controls on YouTube I use NVDA. All I can say is play a video and using your screen reader or NVDA, look for the unmute button. It is somewhere near the top of the page.

Subject: [access-uk] Issue with YouTube

Can anyone suggest why I am unable to hear anything playing on YouTube on my desktop? I've tried a number of different audio/video tracks, both from my history, and new stuff and nothing plays. I also can't find any controls on the page. I'm using IE and Window Eyes. YouTube used to work without a problem, and it continues to work on my laptop without a problem. I've just updated Flash, but that hasn't made any difference.
Cheers
Yusuf
I've set up a FundMe account to help cover the ongoing costs of my PhD. I'd be very grateful if you'd consider donating. Thank you!
