Hi Claire. Yes It may still work on earlier versions. Perhaps the person
who buys it could run it on windows 8.
Very best wishes,
Mo.

false information, I never even used JAWS 16 so didn't want to take the blame
for it if I said it did work. Would it work on earlier versions of Windows like
7 or 8? I know that most people will have probably gone to Windows 10 now but
there may just be someone who could use it.

Hi Claire. Changes were made in later versions of windows 10 that mean that
jaws will not work. I would not attempt trying to install anything less than
jaws 18 on windows 10.
Very best wishes,
Mo.

Hi everyone, I'm asking this on lists so if some of receive this multiple
times I am sorry in advance. I am asking this question on behalf of a friend of
mine. She has a JAWS pro version 16 CD edition licence which she bought a few
years ago but never used and is not intending on doing otherwise. She wants to
put it on for sale but is trying to research which versions of Windows it would
work with apart from Windows 7 and 8. On the FS website it says that it is
Windows 10 ready, so I want to know, is there anyone on here who is a JAWS 16
user of Windows 10, and if so, which build of Windows 10 are you using? We do
completely understand that is obviously going to lack some of the features of
later versions of JAWS, but it would be a shame for her to waste it so would
much rather it go to a good home.
