When are the huge high capacity 64 gig iPods going to be accessible?

Hi Martin

Yes that's what made me ask, because I understand the Nano has been
updated regarding features, and I kind of wondered whether speech works
with it too.

Believe it or not, this is my first adventure into the world of Ipod.
I've had my Iriver H340 with Rockbox on it for about four years now, and
it has served me very well. But I want a good music player that is
accessible, and frankly find the "specialist" devices more geared up for
audio books than music. Additionally, these machines are expensive just
for music, and now I've been introduced to the world of the Mac, might
as well get a bit clued up on what's around with the Ipod family at the
moment.

Thanks for yours and anyone elses help.

Hello Jackie

I have a forth generation nano and once you set it up through ITunes,
and made sure that your enable spoken menus is checked and that it has
properly synced, then it is very accessible with the speech. I think
some features such as the clock and language settings aren't spoken but
I don't find that a real problem as the clock especially I can either
look at my watch or my mobile phone. There has been a new nano out
since the forth gen which does and works in exactly the same way, but
has a few new features such as a fm radio and a few other things I am
not to familiar with.

Hope this helps

All the best

Martin
