HI.
Yes the UK integration of Siri hasn?t happened yet, but to be honest for me
thats not a major issue.
I think Siri is helpful on two levels.
First in the way that is demonstrated on the tv adds, i.e asking it
questions, telling it to do stuff for you etc, and that is indeed as well as
gimicy very useful for example when setting reminders.
However when I think it really benefits is in the area of text dictation,
and can potentially here help people who find screen typing slow and
laborious.
Whenever you have a text input area, on the bottom left of the screen next
to the space bar is a "dictate" button. Double tap, didtate away, then when
you've finished two finger double tap, it will say syncing, then read back
the text that has been recognized.
The accuracy is certainly for me very good, the only pain is that when it
makes an error correction can be tedious.
I moved from a 4 to 4S, and am glad I did, there are quite a few advantages
some of which involve Siri but also others relate to the speed benefits of
the new A5 processor.
Sorry about the length of this but hope it contributes to the thread.

I believe some of the new Vodafone phones have a built in free screenreader.

Saqib,

As I understand it, there is no UK business directory that Siri can hook
into yet, so one limitation is that you can't get answers to questions like
"what restaurants are nearby", or "when's the next train to Cardiff". News
of when such a directory will become available is pure speculation as Apple
haven't given a date, but I've heard people mention January/February.
