Hi again Barry. £14.99! Not bad for broadband eh? I pay £17.00 for Freeserve. I saw an advert on TV last night offering broadband for £8.00 a month from a company called Bulldog or something and it said that the price would be frozen for as long as you remained a customer. I think I'll try and find out more about that. Perhaps if I pay Bulldog a little more I can get an even faster broadband package eh?

Best wishes.

Andy

Nope, Internet radio plays fine, even though I'm only paying £14.99 for
my broadband. It's stuff like the file that auto-plays when I go to this
site:

Hi Barry.

I listen to bbc radio 2 on the net and occasionally the quality of the sound
deteriorates badly. This is because I'm only paying £17.00 a month for
broadband. . Perhaps the snow or frost on the lines are causing your
problems?

Hi Andy

Sorry, it ain't sound effects as Jaws speaks alright and sound files that
I
have on my hard drive play fine. It's just internet sound files. I don't
think it's my broadband speed either as I'm on 2mb. Incidentally, I
played
obout with teh sound effects some tiem ago and got jaws to sound like
chipmonks - Very funny.

Cheers

Barry

Hi Barry.

Sounds like you have been playing about with your Sound Effect Manager,
though I may be wrong. Go into the Control Panel/Sound Effect Manager and
make sure that the Environment is on None. You can arrow up and down here
and get some really wacky effects. You should hear jaws speak in the
Concert Hall option.

Best wishes.

Andy.

Hi all

When I play sounds on the Internet, they sound like they are under water.
Anyone know what is wrong and how I might fix it.

Thanks
