[access-uk] Internet file sharing application?

Hi everyone,
Could someone recommend an internet file sharing program (peer to peer) that is
accessible please? I'll be using it to share files over the internet between me
and my family exclusively, so I'm not after programs like BareShare or
BitTorrent applications that are open to the public. I vaguely remember
reading, or someone mentioning, a program that creates a folder on your
computer, and any file you copy to that folder becomes available to the people
you're sharing your files with for downloading. An application like this would
be ideal.
