Hi Andy,

Is there no option with in a program to create a recovery disk
somewhere? You really need to do this as if the hdd goes you will loose
everything.

Andrew.

Hi DJ.

I wish I could mate. The Norton is within the Recovery and I don't even
have a Recovery Disk. I think it's F11 on Boot-up to re-format back to
factory settings. When I do such a recovery, Norton is waiting there
for me
like an old friend, who I'd rather not see. I've not got around to
using
the Norton Extraction Tool, as I believe that you need to Uninstall
Norton
before using it. The problem is when you try to uninstall Norton, you
are
told that you cannot do that as files are being used by another program.
The best I can do is to turn it all off so that it does not launch on
boot-up. However, every time I install Sygate and AVG, I get a message
saying server not found. So unfortunately, I'm stuck with Norton on my
computer. My wife's computer upstairs has Sygate and AVG, but I'm not
sure
now if I should just uninstall these. I've read in a message that my
Belkin
Router may have an Anti-Virus of it's own, so perhaps there is a
conflict
between this and Sygate or AVG. It's all a bit too complicated for me
but
I've no confidence in my local computer shop to sort it out for me.

Best wishes.

Andy.
