hi mel, ok when you are in internet explore you need to go to the tools menu and look for manager add-ons it is the second or third item on that menu. if you go into it in will bring up a list of add-ons that is working when you go on the internet. all you need to do is high lite it from the list and tab then arrow down and it will say disable the add-on that you picket.

if you have a problem with this let me no.

hth

cheers

Hi Anthony,

I don't seem to have an add-ons menu on my work PC, but will have another
look when I get home. What am I looking for here?

Subject: [access-uk] Internet Explorer Query

Hi All,

I have Windows XP Home edition with IE6 on my home PC. Whenever I go
into IE, where Google should be my home page, it defaults to Internet
Explorer search. When I look in the view menu and IE toolbar, search
is showing as checked. If I uncheck it, it is fine until I next go
into IE, when it is checked again.

I have uninstalled MSN 7 as it said something about MSN search on the
search page and I don't like MSN 7 anyway! I have also run both
Spybot and Add-aware to ensure that my PC is free of spyware.

Any suggestions please anyone?
