Please can someone tell me how to get your own music into your amazon
library?

No, the Amazon Echo has its own speaker, and indeed, doesn't have any
facility to plug into either speakers or headphones. The Echo Dot has a
headphone socket.
Both do Internet radio just fine.

Hi, thanks for this. I was under the impression that the Amazon Echo only
played media from Amazon and connected third parties. And that, as with the
Google, you need external speakers....?
