They made promises which they have failed to keep about changing the site. I suppose lying is not really seen as a crime. I think the BMI case is rumbling on, but I have my doubts as to a satisfactory conclusion. Don’t hold your breath on that one. I think this raises an i important side issue. Often a site is said to be inaccessible when it is only difficult to use. The BMI website is truly inaccessible as far as booking flights is concerned as it is impossible with a screenreader to access the calendar. Unless things have changed since I did it myself, Easyjet flights can be booked. As with all these things, you have to be careful you don’t book more than you intended! The Easyjet website isn't exactly brilliant either, least it wasn't when I booked a flight last. Barry's partner made this point on TV last night and, from my last visit to Easyjet's site, it wasn't great. But you are dead on about BMI though. Try booking your flight at www.bmibaby.com/. If anyone can select their departure and return dates who is a screenreader user, I’d be interested to know how you did it. This is inaccessibility in the truest sense of the word. This isn’t AT related so I’ll keep this brief. Basically, your dog is an animal and as such there are rules laid down for the carrying of pets and assistance dogs on-board commercial aircraft. Just take your documents with you and all should be fine, if you aren’t challenged for them then great, but if you are, you’ll be prepared. If the train company suddenly decided that all pets and guide/assistance dogs must be accompanied with appropriate travel documentation and that fact was made readily available to you upon booking, you could expect no different treatment to that given to any other passenger if you weren’t carrying such documentation. All the best, Ibrahim. Fortunately I do carry it with my freedom pass but I would never have thought of showing it as I would have got in a panick. As for my Record Book, it would have been in my case and will be again on Wednesday when we take to the air once more. Easy jet have a duty of care to all their travellers, and the same goes for any other airline, so if you take your guide dog identity card and pet vet book with you whenever you travel, you should be absolutely fine. All the best, Ibrahim.
