Hi Ali,
If you are running windows 8 there is a Microsoft platform voice that I use
and it rivals eloquence with a very clear female voice. I use it all the
time in NVDA as I have given up on Jaws.

All the information you need to install extra synthesizers on NVDA is
available on the extra voices page at www.nvda-project.org or through the
help menu of NVDA if you have it installed. You can download a selection of
free voices from the likes of Microsoft or you can buy Vocalizer voices for
a nominal fee.
