Hi Andy,
Whither you use an upgrade or not, you will still use your SMA.
Like if you had Jaws 7.1 and skipped version 8 and waited for version 9.
Your SMA for version 8 will have been used.

Jackie - This is why I stopped paying for an SMA, because I was finding that
more things were not working as well as they previously had, and it felt as
if I was paying for Braille upgrades which I never use! -
