Ok Steve, so what are the options for watching on demand tv including audio
description? I've heard mention of digi tv on here a few times more but
waht exactly is it and how does it work / cost also are there other options
and how well do these work anyway in terms of reception?

all these questions, you're the man with the answers?!

Cheers,

Phil

Hi Sue,

Thanks for that, I'll check it out. Bet there's no audio description though

Hi Steve.

It does let you watch TV on demand. I've just watched a soap from 10 days
ago. I read somewhere on the page that you can go back over the last 31
days to catch up with programmes if you wish.

Sue.

Hi Sue,

That program is boring. It doesn't let you watch TV on demand, only live TV
as far as I know. Much easier to switch on a telly, or buy DigiTV if all
you want is live TV <Smile>.

All the best

Steve

I sent a post to this list a couple of days ago about the fact that I was
having difficulty in downloading the ITV player. I've finally got there
after 3 days of sheer frustration trying to sort this one out. I downloaded
the BBC iPlayer without any problem, but the ITV player wasn't
straightforward at all in my opinion.

Earlier on this evening I visited that fantastic Whitestick website as I've
seen a link to a download page before. I found some software on there which
I've now downloaded which allows you to watch internet TV. I've just
finished watching the ITV news which was great.

I just thought I'd post this for anyone else who wants to watch TV from
their P C. It's free as well but I'm not sure how long that will last!!!

I hope someone finds this useful. I thought it might interest Alex Thynne
who's on this list. You simply type in the programme title you wish to
watch in the search box, and you're away. It's fantastic.

Sorry for waffling on so much, but I'm just relieved to have it all sorted
out.

Happy TV Watching.

Sue.
