Haha! Sorry mate, I can't answer that one. It looks like the functionality or access to features is similar but more than that, I don't know as I don't actually use either myself. As I say, with jaws, you can get round it ok apart from buying from the store. Kind regards. Steve PS, perhaps Brian or Terry could give us a more indepth overview of jTunes features with the new iTunes v10.5X version. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kevin Sent: 06 January 2012 08:25 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: ITUNES ACCESSIBILITY Steve, Many thanks. Are the paid for scripts any better than the free ones? IOS5 on the new apple products can update itself however. iTunes is reasonably accessible out of the box and will work on Win 7. To be able to buy on the pc, you would benefit from either Brian Hartgens jaws scripts or the blind tunes scripts. The former scripts cost around £40 or so and the latter ones are free. Hope that helps. I am using a Windows 7 PC but, on looking on the Apple website it appears that the accessibility features of Itunes work in Windows XP and Vista but Windows 7 does not seem to be supported (I am using Jaws 11). I am a novice here and am wondering whether I do, in fact need my Windows PC to download content or can I simply download straight to the Ipod? Sorry if these seem daft questions.
