Hi Paul, thanks. We're definitely going for an external aerial and may
have to fit it outside because we only have a bungalow, so it's pretty
low. Thanks though for the encouragement.

Carol,

I've run one in the loft and it works fine; fortunately the internal
aerial still works for the main stations here, but the external greatly
improves the choice of listening for me!

Cheers.

Paul.

I've only got an internal aerial at present, but not for much longer!
Thanks! I'll make sure it's fitted correctly also. Has anyone added an
external one and what has the result been like for you?

When you say with an aerial attached, I presume you mean an external
aerial Carol? I assume the aerial is outside and pointed in the
direction of the boosters for your most popular multiplexes, or should
that be multiplices I wonder!!

Paul.

Hi all,

Is there any way of boosting the digital signal of a digital portable
radio with aerial attached? I'd also be interested in any suggestions
people may have to improve reception in bad areas.
