[access-uk] Re: IPhone 6 and Disturb functionality

I found this useful snippet on the internet:

The "Do Not Disturb While Driving" notification that appears on the locked
screen is actually sort of like an advertisement for the feature, or
notification that it exists. You need to actually activate this notification on
the locked screen so that Apple knows that you are aware of the feature. Once
you have done this, then setting the "Do Not Disturb While Driving" setting to
"Manual" will ensure that this notification does not appear on your locked
screen again.

Cheers

B

Tried this but it doesn t work. I m still getting the notifications any time I
go for a drive in the car. Thanks.

Double tap on the button below that, which yours will probably say
automatically.
That opens another page.  Swipe down to Manually and double tap it.
That should sort it.

Subject: [access-uk] IPhone 6 and Disturb functionality

I have an iPhone 6 with the latest software on it.

There is a feature called Do Not Disturb. It is intended to limit
phone communications with a drive while driving.

As I am a blind person clearly I do not drive, however, I do travel in
the family car quite a bit.
I have tried all of the settings on the functionality but have been
totally unable to prevent it telling me that I should not be disturbed
while driving.

Any clues on how to stop this behaviour.

Regards, John.
