Sorry misheard your original message with my deaf ears.
However in theory if your btinternet account is set up as IMap then I think the same principle should apply.

However this will not work if you are relying on Pop access to your email.
If you are using imap then as I understand it deleting emails should be synched across devices so deleting on another device may work.

David,

I do not use g-mail at all.

My question is regarding Outlook for IOS and my btinternet account. .

Do you run GMail on another device? A Mac or a PC?

I believe that if you delete the emails there then they should, in my
experience, disappear from your phone also assuming you have imap and
not POP enabled on your phone.

Hello all,

I have an IPhone 6 running IOS 10.

I also run the Outlook app on it to show me which e-mails I have received.

Is there a way of doing a mass delete of the items in the Outlook recycle
bin?
As far as I have found out so far, I would need to delete each one in
turn,
which would be an horrendous task.
