If you uninstall ie7 your system will just revert back to ie6. Although 7 odes
install over the top of 6, removing 7 doesn't then remove ie completely it just
removes that version.

David - If I let IE7 install and then uninstall it, how will I get back to IE6?
7 will install over it! -

| Hi Andy,
|
| It looks as if they can. You can stop it by using a
| blocker kit available from microsoft at:
|
|
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=4516A6F7-5D44-482B-9DBD-869B4A90159C&displaylang=en
|
| However, it's probably just as easy to let IE7
| install, and then uninstall it,
|
| David.

| David - so far, I have been able to say "no" to
| installing IE7 when
| installing updates, but my ISP in an email says that
| from Feb12, Windows
| updates will force the installation of IE7; I mean,
| can they really do this
| to users without consent? -
