Doesn't it just Darren, like PCs with Vista but the ability to downgrade to XP.

  Hi Barbra

I too am happy with IE7 and with all the bugs in IE8 I won't be upgrading
soon either.

Interestingly though there is a compatibility button in IE8 which allows you
to use it in IE7 mode because the majority of web sites don't work properly
with IE8. That just about says it all really!

  Darren.

I recently saw this message on two sites, maybe not worded exactly, but
meaning is the same.

"We will soon be phasing out support for IE 7".

As someone who is happy with IE 7 and has no intention to upgrade until
absolutely necessary, is it likely that many sites will stop supporting IE 7 in
the near future making upgrade to IE 8 essential?
