Hi,

They do, but it can be quicker than lifting your hand off then tapping
twice.  It's a single tap with the other hand.  It's a matter of choice
really.  I split tap all the time.

Just out of interest, what would be the advantage of using the split
tap instead of using the standard double-tap jesture? Don't they both
perform the same action?
