Hi Joan. Gouroch is a nice place to visit. It's a bit run down unfortunately. I suppose like many Scottish seaside resorts these days. Everyone is going to Spain, It's cheaper. However, whenever I'm in 'Gouroch, I go for a pint in one of those old fashioned bars. The swimming pool has just been rebuilt so there is still some cash around for development. Gouroch has great potential, given it's location. Perhaps with global warming, more people will visit for sailing holidays. Best wishes.
