Hi,
If the volume buttons are not working, that suggests it isn't turned on.
Plug it into a charger, then leave it for a few minutes, then turn it on.
All the best
Steve

Subject: [access-uk] How to tell when a Pixel is on
Hi all
I've bought a 2nd hand Google Pixel version 1. I've put a sim card in and
am trying to turn it on and to get Talkback running. It's been charged
overnight. When I press the power button, I get no feedback at all, similar
to the iPhone. I then tried holding both volume keys for three seconds to
turn TB on, and tried it again as recommended on the Google Accessibility
help site, but that did nothing. I then tried holding two fingers on the
screen but same result. There's no-one with eyes in the house to tell me if
it is actually turned on and working, so I don't know what might be
happening. Is there anything I can do independent ally or do I need to be
patient and wait for someone with eyes?
Cheers
B
