[access-uk] How to save sent messages in Thunderbird?

Hello All,

I've been trawling through the various options and menus in Thunderbird to turn on message saving but for the life of me I can't find where you enable this feature. My Saved Messages Folder is always empty and I wish to have messages saved for resending if necessary and for a record for myself.

Does anyone know the trick?

Thanks.
John.
