[access-uk] How to change scale of value axes in Excel Charts- please help!

Hope someone can help- I am a JAWS user who can't use a mouse and I can't
figure out how to change the scale on the x or y axes when producing charts in
MS Excel- all the advice is to click on the axis to bring up the relevant steps
and info, but I can't do this. It seems no-one at college in their infinite
wisdom can tell me either...{well apart from one lady who is on leav efor a
month!}.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could fill me in on how to achieve this
task without using the mouse- much appreciated,
