Agree

Turn the machine off, and disconnect it from the mains.
Let the alcohol evaporate before re-connecting.
Use a cloth which doesn't shed fibres.

Subject: [access-uk] How to Clean a Braille Display

Hello list,

At work I have been migrated to using a new laptop and 40 cell Braillex
display.

My employers have allowed me to bring my old Pappenmeyer Braillex EL80 home
for to use there.

Can anyone give me some tips on what I should use to clean the cells and how
I should go about doing so.

The still function, but after about 10 years I am sure that a good clean
would do it good.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards, John.
