Hi Steve.

Have you tested the KNFB reader on any of the E series phones?

Hi James,

The reader does not require Xenon, it just works better with it.

All the best

Steve

Hi Jackie,

The N95 does not have a Zenon Flash or whatever its called though, so how
can it possibly work? The KNFB website does not say it works.

Hi Martin

It is, while stocks last, as the N82 is becoming increasingly difficult to
get hold of. It also works on the 6220 Classic.

We supply the phone unlocked, which means you can choose the operator of
your choice.

And just to reiterate, the K-NFB Reader software works on the N95.

Is that for the n82. And, is it unlocked to all service providers?

Hi Ibrahim

It costs £1,144. This is for the mobile phone, the K-NFB Reader software
and Talks Premium. To purchase the K-NFB Reader software on its own, the
cost is £695. Introductory training is an additional £200.

I am not advertising, merely answering the questions for clarification.

Hi Jackie.

Just how much does KNFB reader cost? Is it locked to one phone or can you

transfer it.

Thanks to all who advised me on the KNFB Reader.

It does sound like a very useful piece of kit. It was first
suggested to
me
by an Access to Work advisor, so ATW would be paying for it.

Cheers

Barry

Hi Barry.

I've never used this, but it will only work on two phones as I'm
aware,
the
Nokia 6220 classic and the N82. If you haven't either of these
phones
then
forget it as you wont get best performance. Its made by the same
people
who
make Kurzweil, so its bloody expensive for what it does which is
essentially
scan in documents using your digital camera on the phone. If you've
a
laptop that you regularly take in to meetings with you IE to take
notes,
you
might find it cheaper to buy yourself an external USB powered scanner
and
use that instead with supporting software.

Subject: [access-uk] How good is the KNFB reader

Hi all

Although I do get quite a lot of information by email before
meetings that I attend, there are the inevitable last minute
documents
that
are handed out. I've read up on the KNFB Reader, but the blurb is by
the
makers and distributors, those with a vested interest.

So, I was wondering what anyone who is actually using it thinks of
it's performance. Does it read documents accurately? Is it quick
and
easy
to use? Is it intrusive?

Many thanks

Barry
