Hi Christine, not sure about the group allowing attachments, but I'd
certainly be interested in having them, as I'm sure my social worker and the
people who are supposed to be representing me don't really have a clue.

No, that is Not That, it is your Legal Right to have access to Direct
payments if you are registered blind or partially sighted.  A person with a
dual impairment has a few more rights but non the less, you are still
entitled to direct payments...This is quite new and even social services
themselves aren't very clear on our rights, so you just have to search them
on the net, read and learn all about what your entitled to and fight, it is
actually illegal for social services not to allow you access.  I'm no use at
searching or I'd post a link, I have attachments I can post but not sure if
the group allow attachments.  Christine.
