  Hi Mari,

Have you checked what size of label the software thinks is in the printer.

That's the usual reason for what you are getting.

  George.

  The plot thickens!

Have managed to put label roll in, now the machine prints one label correctly
but stops in the middle of the next one and the computer informs me the printer
is out of paper.

Any idea about what's going on here anyone?

  Thanks in advance.

  All the best,

  Marie

    Hi all,

I use this device quite often, the last few times I have, after printing
the label, the printer carried unrolling labels and only stopped after 3 or 4.
Then, One day, it refused to print and the computer informed me that the
printer was out of paper. There was still around 30 labels on the roll.
Thinking the problem was due to this fact, I took the remainder of the roll off
by pressing the front button and tried to put a new roll of labels in the
machine.

I have only done this once or twice before as I use big rolls and always
found it easy. Now the paper isn't taken in.

Is there a step I've missed, trick to make this operation easier? Is it
possible that the paper detector is faulty?

I have had the machine for a bit more than a year, not covered by guaranty
anymore, is it worth repairing? how can I be sure it has gone wrong and not
just me not operating it properly?

I'm told a blue light is flashing continuously on the front of the device.

Comments, thoughts, advice more than welcomed.

    All the best

    Marie
