McAfee is not very accessible. It is rather like Norton in that it is a
sprawling anti-virus that gets into everything and slows down the machine.
Personally I would swap it for something else there are a number of good
alternatives such as Microsoft Security Essentials, ESET NOD 32 or even AVG
Free edition to name but three.

I have just got my netbook back from samsung, it has been
repaired, I think they replaced the hard drive. Question: on
the netbook they have put mcafee, is mcafee accessible and
how much would it cost me per month or year to get a full
license for mcafee? I'm assuming it's a internet security
