Hi Hussein.

Domestic and general insurance can provide warrantee cover if the machine is in good working condition. There website is at www.domgen.com and you can get a quote and apply online.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] Help with laptop warranty extension

Hello,

I would be really grateful for any help you could offer me.

I've had my Acer TravelMate laptop for just over two years. In that time, I
did not register any warranty or insurance cover. The original warranty
which I never used was only valid for one year.

Now I was wondering if I could buy any warranty extension for this laptop.
Needless to say if heaven forbid there is a fault now the bill would be more
than I could easily hope to pay.

I've looked on the Acer site and felt this would be suitable, but I think I
don't qualify as it had to be purchased within the first year after
purchase:
http://store.acer-euro.com/home/notebooks/4-years-carry-in-(1st-year-interna
tional-coverage-for-travelers-).html?s=11&l=en&p=3&i=158&si=149

If this wasn't suitable, does anyone have any suggestions on any cover or
package I could buy to protect the laptop, or am I now just stuck with
hoping nothing goes wrong? I've tried going through several sites but it's
all a little confusing to wade through.

Thanks for any help you can offer.
