Cheers George. I'll get all that underway tonight.#

The files you mention are only really understandable by someone
extremely technical.

First would be to do a thorough, in depth scan of the system to ensure
there are no nasties like trojans and viruses hanging around.

I'd suggest you then do some serious disk cleaning, beginning with
Disk Cleanup, to remove temporary files and such like. Follow that
with a defrag.

Then do further checks to see what files are remaining which have a
.tmp extension. In 99 cases out of 100, these can also be deleted.

Have you any software that is essentially redundant and can be
removed? Same with any Startup programs which are not necessary.

Once you've done all that, repeat the defrag.

George.

Hi List.

I'm having a constant problem with the following MS error.

   Error Report Contents
The following files will be included in this error report:
C:\DOCUME~1\Darran\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER5204.dir00\Mini051310-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Darran\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER5204.dir00\sysdata.xml
Close

The computer is crashing on a regular basis, normally in and around
the time
of a download, and the above isn't really helping me find out what's
what.

Can anyone out there throw any light on my problem?

Thanks.

Darran
