[access-uk] Help With TVonics Problem

Hi Folks,
My TVonics z500-hd has stopped doing series link recordings, it will still 
record individual shows from the listings, it just won't let me do a series 
recording anymore.  When I try to do it, I'm told that an unexpected error has 
occurred.  I have removed all the shows that I had previously recorded, and 
been through the settings, but I didn't see anything amiss.  If I do a reset, 
will this remove the software upgrades and speech installations that I had to 
perform last year when I purchased the unit?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
