Hi, I don't use hearing aids at all, but have a question. Recently in church we upgraded the sound system. We have got a loop, and we have a loop test headphone which I have used to verify that the signal is ok throughout the building. However, is it correct that digital hearing aids don't have a T switch on them for the loop setting (sorry if I get the terminology wrong here)? What is the best way of getting the loop working with a digital hearing aid? Thanks. Andrew. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Terry Clasper Sent: 03 December 2006 12:46 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Hearing aids stuff HI Andy. Sorry for the delay in replying. Obviously the quality is kind of dependnet on the quality of the aids in the=20 first place and how well they have been programmed. . However for me the sound is fantastic, all the high frequencies are just like they used to sound when I could wear headphones without hearing aids or indeed when I used to be able to hear almost perfectly! , and the detail of music is just=20 fantastic. The other thing is that I can properly monitor levelsw when=20 recording and mixing. I also sometimes use an FM link for this and whilst this fivces me much more=20 flexibiolity of movement i.e not meaning I have to carry the device I'm=20 listening to around with me, the sound is obviously momo so not suitable for=20 a lot of the high quality listening which I do. I must say I've found the contributions to this thread very interesting, it's nifce to know that others are around who are in the same situation to=20 myself, one which to be honest I don't talk about that often. All the best. Terry. ----- Original Message -----=20 From: "Andy Collins" <Andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, December 01, 2006 10:48 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Hearing aids stuff > Terry, thanks for the explanation and web link.
